Reliance Industries plans to bring onstream new polyester capacity totalling 550 000 tonne/year in phases between Q4 2005 and Ql 2006,a company source told ACN.The new capacities include 240000 tonne/year of polyester staple fibre in Hazira,Gujarat,India,216 000 tonne/year of polyester filament yarn(PFY),also in Hazira,and 94 000 tonne/year of PFY in Patalganga,Maharashtra,India.
