Despite poor show in 2002-03, Indian polymer producers upbeat

Indian polymer producers are optimistic that the industry will pick up in the fiscal year ending 31 March 2004 despite its dismal performance in 2002-03. They forecast that demand for PE, PP and PVC will grow by 7-10% this year as the agricultural sector improves as a result of better weather.
