Moving counter to the day before, PJM West Hub day-ahead peak jumped about $6 on the day to price about $89.25/MWh on the Intercontinental Exchange for May 18. Seeing double-digit rises, the real-time peak contract moved $16.50 higher to $95/MWh. AEP Dayton Hub peak was valued up about $14 to price almost $89.75/MWh. The balance of the week peak May 19-20 contract rose $33.75 to $135/MWh.
