The ministry of industry production and special initiatives (MIP&SI) has failed to start export oriented five developmental projects, worth Rs 969.97 million related to ceramic development, glass products, foundry services and others. Although first half of the current fiscal has been completed, these projects have totally failed to have a single penny spent on them. Even up to June 2007, these export oriented developmental projects were unsuccessful to start the projects. But during the annual budget for the year 2007-08, the government has allocated a reasonable amount of Rs 452.08 million for these projects for the only aim to enhance country's exports.
