Some good news for South Korean makers of electronic chemicals emerged from the 2005 International Consumer Electronics Show(CES)in Las Vegas,Nevada,US,earlier this month.The country's major electronics makers announced plans for increased investments in plant expansions and research and development(R&D),and chemical companies said they would definitely benefit from increased demand for their products.An analyst with LG Investment & Securities,Gino Kim,said the electronics manufacturers had given a positive signal to the speciality-chemicals industry by declaring ambitious goals for growth.
