THE Indonesian government's decision to increase fuel-oil prices will reduce Asahimas Chemical's operating profit for this year by more than USus1m,its president director,Takuya Shimamura,told ACN.The government announced at the end of last month that it would increase fuel-oil prices by 47.44%,from Rpl560 (16 cents)/litre to Rp2300/litre and kerosene for industry by 22.2%,from Rpl800/litre to Rp2200/litre.
