On course to keep emissions at bay

THIS YEAR has seen a number of shipping regulations come into force to address the environmental impact of global shipping.In May,international regulations to control harmful emissions from ships'exhausts become operational,under Annex VI of the Marpol Convention.And in August,revised rules for the prevention of seawater pollution by ships'sewage discharges came into force.
