This paper discusses the question of the higher diffraction efficiency of phase holograms processed by the method of reversal bleaching by comparison with other methods that use ordinary bleaching. It is shown that, to obtain high diffraction efficiency, it is necessary not only to optimize the composition but also the concentration of the components of the developer. Experiments have been carried out on PFG-01 photographic plates from OAO Kompaniya Slavich, on which holograms were recorded in convergent rays, using four types of developers for reversal bleaching. The developers contained ascorbic acid, Metol, phenidone, and sodium carbonate in various ratios. A diffraction efficiency of 89 is achieved.
