After more than 20 years of rapid development, the ceramic tile sector of Asia has developed into a fast-growing industry featuring fully market-oriented competition, formed an industrial structure taking polished tile, interior wall tile, exterior wall tile and imitation tile as prevailing products. Both the production and marketing of polished tiles accounts for the largest share of the industry. It has a very complex production process, and as such it very difficult to transform production. However, a study on the production and marketing trend of polished ceramic tiles is very representative for development trend of ceramic tile in dustry. In the past, the ceramic tile industry has adopted mainly a parallel production and marketing pattern for polished tiles, which has featured an individual manufacturer having a single brand name, and providing the marketing system with diverse products by means of flexible mode or production.
