EXPECTATIONS of a more than 5% rebound in GDP (gross domestic product) after the recession year of 2001 and the recovery year of 2002 are unlikely to be fulfilled in 2003, particularly in H1 2003, according to ABN-Amro. The consultancy has cut its GDP-growth estimate for 2003 to 2.6% from 3.1% and forecast a 5.8% GDP growth for 2004.
