A Price battle was raging in Asian styrene markets last week between traders and customers as attempts by traders to hike offers on tight supply claims and high benzene and ethylene costs (see p25-26) faced customer resistance.A deal was concluded early last week at US740/tonne cfr China,US10/tonne lower than the previous business concluded ten days earlier (see p25).
