Iran and China will dominate the coming quarter due to the number of projects starting up in the two countries. Shahid Tondguyan Petrochemical, an affiliate of Iran's state-owned National Petrochemical Co (NPC), will bring onstream its 350 000 tonne/year purified terephthalic acid (PTA) plant in Bandar Imam, Iran, in September.
