The enhancement of forward visibility at night is very useful for improving safety and helping to reduce the driver strain and fatigue. In order to enhance forward visibility, we have developed a "Light Distribution Control Headlamp System" for heavy-duty trucks in which the area illuminated and the vertical angle and optimally controlled automatically to match vehicle speed, steering wheel angle and vehicle load and other running conditions. And it has been confirmes that the system realizes a significant improvement of safety on winding roads.
