An oxidation protective Si-Mo-Cr coating for C/SiC coated carbon/carbon composites

Oxidation protective multilayer coatings,usually using SiC as an internal buffer layer,are considered to be an effective method for preventing carbon/carbon(C/C)composites against oxidation at high temperature[1-5].Si-Mo alloy is provided with excellent oxidation resistance and has widely been used as anti-oxidation coating for high-temperature metal[6].
