Ontario taking steps to better protect workers

The Ontario government has launched a consultation in order to modernize first aid requirements, with a focus on a proposal to enhance health and safety training stan-dards at all workplaces. The public was able to procide input until Feb. 22 and will be used to inform the development of a potential new first aid reulation under the Occupational Health and Safety Act.
