Evonik Starts Construction in Singapore On New Alkoxides Production Facility

Singapore- Evonik said it has begun construction on a new production plant for alkoxides at the company's site on Jurong Island, Singapore, to serve the Asian market. The 100,000-t/y alkoxides plant, which requires a mid double-digit million-euro investment, will be a modern facility with state-of-the-art technology aiming for zero Scope 1 Scope 2 emissions, Evonik noted. Operations are scheduled to begin by the end of next year.
