Oxidation of 1,4-Dihydropyridines under Mild and Heterogeneous Conditions

摘要

A combination of NaHSO_4 centre dot H_2O and (NH_4)Cr_2O_7 in the presence of wet SiO_2 was used as an effective oxidizing agent for the oxidation of 1,4-dihydropyridines to their corresponding pyridine derivatives and room temperature with excellent yields.
