Shipments of small-sized nitrogen PSA generators(generation capacity of 20 m~3/h or less excluding desktop models)rose 3% in fiscal 2021 year on year to total 740 units.The impact of the Covid-19 crisis was felt in the summer of 2021,but from autumn on movements of recovering losses during the pandemic became apparent.Demand was particularly strong for analysis in universities and research institutes,resin molding in general industry,and oxidation prevention for processed food.In the same way as for medium-sized nitrogen PSA generators,procurement of electrical equipment was a problem,but manufacturers of small-sized PSA generators order various parts in lots,and it appears they had some leeway in stocks.For standard products,it appears that the two leading manufacturers are currently maintaining-delivery times of three months.
