Payara offshore Guyana oil development now seen online in early Q4: Hess

The ExxonMobil-operated Payara offshore oil development on Guyana's Stabroek block is now scheduled to come on stream early in the fourth quarter and ramp up over the following five months before reaching peak production of 220,000 b/d of crude, top officials at Hess Corp. said July 26. Once on stream, the development should contribute about 15,000 net b/d of oil to Hess' production in the fourth quarter as it gains momentum toward maximum capacity, Hess President and Chief Operating Officer Greg Hill said in webcast remarks during the company's second-quarter earnings call.
