Steel fabricator Severfield, supplier to London's Shard and Birmingham's New Street Station, has appeared in court after a forklift truck driver who was not wearing a seatbelt died when his vehicle overturned.On 13 March 2013, Kelvin McGibbon, 27, was reversing the 3.6 tonne diesel truck when it struck some adjacent steps, causing it to topple over. He had delivered materials to Severfield's production line and reversed out of the plant through a roller shutter door and down an external slope.
