Fabrication of Wide Band Metallic Bend Waveguide with Asymmetric In-Line Dielectric Rods

A metallic waveguide that has an array of dielectric rodslocated at a distance from the side wall of approximately one quarter thewaveguide width was previously proposed for single mode propagationover a wide frequency range. In this study, the S parameters of such awaveguide were measured for the TE_(10) mode.
