Any major infrastructure programme offers challenges, not least in the field of health and safety. The Dublin Airport Authority is undergoing significant expansion to enhance passenger capacity and is investing almost ?1.2bn between now and 2009 as part of a 10-year programme. The programme is structured around a number of individual projects, which cover a wide range of construction-related activities.
