GenXtraits licenses NZ tech for nutritionally enhanced crops

US crop genomics company GenXtraits (Alameda, California) has forged a licensing agreement with New Zealand-based Institute for Plant and Food Research (Auckland). The deal grants the former an exclusive global license to utilize the Institute's proprietary technology to develop and commercialize tomatoes, as well as other food crops with enhanced levels of vitamin C and improved stress tolerance.
