Iran's President Ebrahim Raisi insists his country's oil exports have doubled since he took offi ce last August,but shipping data indicate that exports declined in April relative to the two previous months."Today,the amount of oil sales in the country has doubled since the beginning of the government,and we no longer have to worry about this,"Raisi said in an Iranian television interview late on Monday.He did not say how much oil Iran is exporting at present.But data analytics fi rm Kpler shows Iran's combined exports of oil and condensate falling to just below 650,000 barrels per day in April,from almost 770,000 b/d in March and 940,000 b/d in February,which was the highest level in almost three years.Kpler's numbers put Iranian exports in August 2021,when Raisi's term began,at around 460,000 b/d.
