摘要

In an article that was published in the Journal earlier this year (1) the authors report that they evaluated dietary habits by "a repeatable and validated (in our laboratory) semiquantitative food-frequency questionnaire," although they provided no reference. In anotherpublication, which obviously reports results from the same study (2), the authors state that they evaluated dietary habits by using a special, repeatable, interviewer-administered semiquantitative food-frequency questionnaire that they developed in their institution, and they quote 2 articles (3, 4) that refer to their CARDIO2000 study. Earlier articles on the CARDIO2000 study (5, 6), however, quote the use of a questionnaire developed by our research team (7).
