Marginal defects of the eyelid were repaired using skin-muscle-mucosa composite grafts from the lower lip without cartilage support in 2 patients. The method is a simple one-stage procedure and takes little time to perform. Because of the wide contact between the grafts and the recipient sites, grafting was successful. Texture and color match is not too problematic in elderly persons.Sakai S. Marginal eyelid reconstruction with a composite skin-muscle-mucosa graft from the lower lip. Ann Plast Surg 1993;30:445–448
