2010 Leadership Conferences Feature Industry Leader Forums, Awards

NEARLY 1,000 ASCE members from around the country attended the Society's three regional leadership conferences earlier this year to learn how to make the most of their terms as ASCE leaders. These local, regional, and national leaders met in Cleveland January 22-23, in Atlanta February 12-13, and in San Diego February 26-27. The conferences included presentations on a variety of topics by ASCE staff members, volunteers, and national leaders, and attendees also had an opportunity to benefit from forums at which industry leaders discussed leadership and the engineering profession. Time was also found for presentations of awards to individuals, sections, and branches.
