Andrew W. Herrmann Is Society's President-Elect; 22 Other Officers Elected

ANDREW W. HERRMANN, P.E., SECB, F.ASCE, is the Society's new president-elect. Region directors, region governors, an at-large director, and the vice president of the Environmental and Water Resources Institute (EWRI) also were elected by ASCE members. The new officers will begin their terms at the business meeting that will be held in Las Vegas in October as part of ASCE's annual conference. "I look forward to working with the many volunteer members and the dedicated staff of ASCE to communicate and achieve my vision of a strong, vital Society [through] planning, advocating, and working to enhance and empower the future of the civil engineering profession," Herrmann stated in his vision statement.
