摘要

Transformation process of the Al-Cu-Co decagonal quasicrysytalline phase into the crystalline TO phase with vacancy-ordered CsCl-type structure was studied by the transmission electron microscopy (TEM) and optical microscopy. Orientative relationship between the domain boundaries of quasicrystal-line phase and the planes of (111) type of r13 phase suggests that during the transformation the phasons of the domain boundaries transform into the vacancies located in the (111) planes of TO phase.
