The exhaust gas treatment system business(including system sales,detoxicating agent replacement,and maintenance)in Japan is thought to have increased about 30% year on year in fiscal 2021 to ￥27 billion.It appears that manufacturers as well as trading companies that handled overseas products were on the whole doing well.The main users are semiconductor plants.Looking at user trends in Japan shows that manufacturing capacity was being increased at all types of plants not only for high-end producers such as Kioxia,Micron Technology,Sony,and others,but also for producers of products such as logic,automotive semiconductors,SiC,and other power devices.The introduction of exhaust gas treatment systems appears to have been growing accompanying these capital investments.
