Effective Zone Structure by Use of MLCR Method for Radio ATM Entrance Network

摘要

The aim of this paper is to effectively construct zones in a radioATM entrance network. A QoS index is newly proposed in order toconsider both cell transfer delay and cell loss rate. The QoS indexshows the optimal number of access points covering each zone and alsoshows the allowable user traffic intensity. It is clarfied that themodulation level controlled radio method can reduce the number of APsand accommodate more user traffic intensity comparing with QPSKmethod.
