There are few no-till farmers in Richland County, Nort Dakota, let alone farmers aiming to boost soil health. Toussaint Farms is the exception. Father Doug and sons Nick and Brad are banking on both no-till and cover crops to improve soil structure, build organicmatter, and decrease reliance on commercial fertilizer and weed control products.
