All of the books in this review are concerned to a greater or lesser degree with the business aspects of health care. Several are general business texts which are included for the value of their information and the clarity with which they present complex ideas—ideas which can be applied to any organizational setting. Others are concerned with business and economic concepts as they apply specifically to health care. The final book deals with all aspects of nursing homes, but the business aspects of these institutions are some of the most problematical.
