Status of international standardization for ITS human interface

摘要

This paper reports the activity and Status of international standardization regarding "Human Factors" of ITS (Intelligent Transport System). These activities are promoted by ISO/TC22/SC13/WG8. The current important issue of this area is the accessibility of the navigation system while vehicle is in motion, named "Visual Distraction". Some evaluation methods are proposed and discussed for making the criteria of this accessibility. Other international activities of standardization are also mentioned.
