Can fuel cells change the world?

摘要

Status and future of polymer electrolyte fuel cells (PEFC) for electric vehicles are reviewed and commented. Notable feature of PEFC, such as high specific power, high energy efficiency and so on, is explained according to the principle of PEFC, and the relationship between CO inhibition of catalyst on the anode and usable type of fuels for PEFC are also discussed.
