Noise-induced hearing loss from MP3 players.

We read with interest the recent article by Keppler et al that attempted to reveal the harmful effects on hearing from listening to MP3 players. While we fully support the idea that MP3 players can cause noise-induced hearing loss, their study did not have the power and proper design to reject the null hypothesis. We believe that the results of the study do not support the conclusions mentioned, especially those in the abstract.
