The driving fatigue produces a great influence on a safety driving as the foresight ability to danger is made to decline, and causes the delay at reactive time after the driver acknowledges danger. Especially in a long-range transportation by heavy-duty trucks, reduction of the driving fatigue is essential for securing the driver's safety. We have made an investigation into the variations in the number of white blood cells before and after the driving. And we have found the said variations to be appropriate as a physiology index to evaluate the accumulation of fatigue.
