The latest activities of ISO/TC204/WG14: vehicle/roadway warning and control systems

摘要

This paper describes the latest international standardization development activities in ISO/TC 204/WG14 which treats the Vehicle/Roadway Warning and Control Systems among TICS: (TransportInformation and Control Systems) or ITS: (Intelligent Transport Systems). WG14 is one of the mostactive Working Groups in TC204 currently drafting six major standardization items: Adaptive CruiseControl, Forward Obstacle Warning Systems, Traffic Impediment Warning Systems, MaydaySystems, Short Range Obstacle Warning Systems and Lane Departure Warning systems. This paperalso presents the important management subjects to proceed with the smooth, efficient andproductive standardization drafting activities.
