Sumitomo Chemical registered a 29.6% jump in agrochemical sales to ￥494,024 million ($3,653.2 million at the average rate for the period) for its fiscal year ended March 31, 2023. The health and crop sciences division of the company clocked a 26.3% rise in revenues to ￥598,400 million ($4,425 million) during the period. Agrochemicals accounted for 82.6% (80.5% during last fiscal) of the revenues generated by the unit.
