High prices for oil and gas imports have prompted Pakistan to shorten its ofocial working week, while Sri Lanka is considering fuel rationing as both countries seek to rein in demand and eke out dwindling foreign currency reserves. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has reversed an earlier increase in Pakistan's ofocial working week from ove days to six and is considering a work-from-home policy on Fridays to curtail demand for electricity and transportation fuels.
