Some ergonomic study on the visual characteristics of vehicle driver

摘要

This paper deals with knowing the features of the effect on driver's visual characteristics through mainly the studies of visual fatigue, visibility under static or dynamic conditions, visual field, visual adaptation toward the various illumination levels and the effect on visual functions with aging. The optimization of developing hardware and software issues relating to vehicle from ergonomic or human factors point of views should strongly be achieved based upon such the factors as mentioned above in order to provide safety comfort, health and welfare for users.
