MAIN PICTURE: Scottish carrier Loganair took delivery of Skyvan G-AWYG in March 1969 and sold it in December 1973, to become N28TC six months later. Here it is at Glasgow in August 1971 with the company's Beech E18S G-ASUG, which was withdrawn from use in March 1975 and is today preserved in the National Museum of Flight at East Fortune. 2The second prototype Skyvan was the Astazou-powered G-ASCO, demonstrated at the 1966 SBAC Farnborough display in the colours of Ansett-MAL, a subsidiary of Australian carrier Ansett that operated in Papua New Guinea. It was broken up at Sydenham in October 1972.
