Midsized upstream producer Centennial Resource Development and privately held Colgate Energy completed their $3.9 billion merger Sept. 1, debuting a combined entity renamed Permian Resources Corp., which will be the largest pure-pay E&P company in the Delaware Basin, the companies said.
