The world's only surviving Northop Delta from a total of 32 built was recovered from a hangar at Atchison, Kansas, on 24 February and moved 30 miles south-east to the Airline History Museum (AHM) at Kansas City International Airport. Previously owned by Kansas City resident Richard Davis, acquisition of this unique survivor has long been a target of the AHM. John Roper, the museum's vice-president of operations, says: "It has been a long process to get the aircraft here. The plan is to restore it to flying condition over the next couple of years."
