We have developed a liquid phase radioimmunoassay of human interleukin-2 which uses Inexpensive commercially available reagents exclusively. The assay is simple, reproducible and specific in detecting different batches of human Interleukin-2 of natural as well as recombinant origin, but not detecting recombinant murine interleukin-2. The assay is sensitive to a concentration of approximately 0.05 ng/ml and can be used In measurement of IL-2 in serum containing culture media. Radio-Immunoassay, human IL-2.
