Aminophosphabetaines, i.e., isobutyl {[alkyl(dimethyl)ammonio]methyl}phosphorates with higher alkyl substituents at the nitrogen atom, were obtained by a three-stage synthesis. Structure of the compounds was established by IR, NMR spectroscopy and mass spectrometry methods. All compounds obtained demonstrate antimicrobial activity against Bacillus cereus, Staphylococcus aureus and Escherichia coli bacterial strains, as well as Candida albicans fungi.
