Seaborne Crude Imports

Crude trade is projected to rise by 1.6% to 40.6m bpd in 2023, down from last month’s expectations on the back of the recently announced 1m bpd cut to Saudi Arabian production in July and impacts from the ongoing halt to Iraqi exports through the KRG pipeline. Middle Eastern exports are expected to fall 2.7% in 2023.
