Optical systems for thermal viewers based on photodetector arrays of the spectral range 8-12 μm

Optical systems have been developed for thermal viewers based on various types of photodetector arrays for operation in the 8-12 μm region. The main parameters and characteristics of the optical systems are presented, along with an estimate of the image quality.
