In the movie classic, "It's a Wonderful Life," Jimmy Stewart plays a good-hearted, self-sacrificing man who is convinced that his life is not worth living. Then, an angel shows Jimmy what a hell his home town would be had he not lived. Now, suppose Al Johnson had never lived. Someone else might have accomplished for the fabricare industry what he did. But that person would have needed to match Al in world view, intellect, imagination, energy and tenacity. I knew Al. He was one of a kind.
