Scheme-theoretic generation for ideals generated by forms of the same degree: A nice formula

Given a homogeneous ideal I subset of k[x(0),.,., x(n)] (k an infinite field) and supposing that I is generated by forms of the same degree, we prove a formula to compute the minimal number sigma(I) of the scheme-theoretic generations of I. [References: 11]
